7/4/09 GvG report (Floor infiltration)

Vs no i up to the war style x - imperial (-2)
Played modded nh way. We were rolled fairly quickly and for some reason i playing kappaspiker had 5 superior runes and 130hp:( We were rolled fairly quickly.

Vs Pathetic Heroes - solitude (-2)We played Omega Spike with the a/p caller. They played dom mes + lod smiter midline. We conceeded ground very quickly. especially at the start where we acted uncertain of which direction to head too. Because of this butters failed to run the first flag in and once they boosted catching spikes was easy for them and it was downhill from there.

Also as a team we seemed to fall back very easily, even when pressure was minimal?

Personal Points:
Switch sets to 40/40 more often for blurred vision
Focus more on blurring both warriors on spikes
Make more use of glyph of elemental power
When pushing the flag in, snare the offense if it collapses runner
Dont be a retard and bring 5 superior runes

Re: falling back too easily

Basically, against dom mezzes you will see me moving back a lot. What I noticed was that, everytime I moved backwards to pull that pesky mesmer forward(makes it easier for everyone to spike since it forces that mesmer out of position), I saw the "monkey see monkey do" effect - everyone fell back because the monks fell back.

when we noticed wwhen we pulled back i tried to keep standing at place but caused warriors to train me.

be more on 40/40 and not be too much on defensive, i intend to be too much on it

Personal Points:
1.Need to call better targets for that build.(im a bit unexperienced with that build)
2.I gave up to easily and acted like i didnt care.
3.Went suicidal splitting.

To be honest the first game we played ok, when the first spike got through we just blamed dragon and we lost

The second game, where we played on our home map, we just couldnt score consistant kills after they got the bosst. We were pushed back too far and quickly got pressured out. When we got pushed through our front gates, there were a few midliners that got timered because they were not watching the compass. We were pulling back and they left it to late then got body blocked.

As we pushed back into our lord room we managed some stability in our defense but we couldnt kill because of the boosts. We did not push the flag at the start and lost the game because of it.

Personal Points to improve on:

Watch NPC's closely
Adjust my bar to the build we play, i ran dual hex removal instead of vig spirit
Better Weapon switching between my shield set and caster sets
Work more closely with the prot and gain an understanding of each other's play styles
